The future of the project is currently undetermined and direction is unclear. This is solely a personal–hobby project and being used as a creative outlet. Anything and everything may or may not be added to this game in the near or not so near future.
The “game” currently contains no adjustable settings, I will be implemented them at a later date—please leave suggestions as to what options you would like to see available.

Now to the project, Light's Edge currently has no long term goals. I found the idea of creating a hovercraft quite enticing. After some fiddling, I got a somewhat stable controller—which still needs tweaks. Decided to add a spherical gravity system and then finally some pew~pew lasers, and boom… here—we—are.

Download Version 0.1.27 currently contains:
- No in 'game' goals whatsoever.
- Four selectable—basically the same—hovercraft controllers.
- Three selectable weapons—different explosion force sizes.
- Four visitable planets—launch pads leading amongst them.
- One hundred physics cubes—of which a random # become 'stabilized' objects.
< ~~ Future ideas ~~ >
Overall, Light's Edge is 'planned' to be a Rogue-Lite with levels/stages structured to have a beginning, middle, & end. The stage 'beginning' consisting of slower-paced waves containing low-tier enemies. The 'mid' stage consists of some fast, action packed combat containing enemies from the low to mid-tier with speckles of high tier on occasion/event activated. Finally, the 'end' stage, which will consist of enemies correlating with the current time difficulty multiplier and a system 'boss'. System bosses consist of multiple threat levels correlating to its difficulty and abilities.
Some boss abilities may include:
- The ability to planet hop—used as an escape.
- Launch gravity objects laying in the environment—used as an attack.
- “Slurp vortex” pulling gravity objects towards—used as a gap closer.
